It seems four months post break up, Denise Bidot and Lil Wayne are dating again and may be engaged. Wayne tweeted ‘today is the beginning of our forever,’ which has fans speculating their engagement.
Denise Bidot and Lil Wayne broke up in January this year but they seemed to have patched up and gotten engaged. The rapper tweeted “Happiest man alive! Today is the beginning of our forever. Forever?? Forever, ever?? FOREVER EVER!!!!! The Carters.” Lil Wayne’s real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. Just like the super popular couple in the industry, Beyonce and Jay Z who are often called The Carters.
Speculation has been rife that probably Denise has made Wayne the “happiest man alive” by getting engaged to him. On April 14, Wayne shared a video on Instagram which showed Bidot kneeling on the beach. She wrote both of their names, then drew a heart around their names and drew a small heart connecting their names. Then she blew a kiss towards the camera.
There has been no post announcing their engagement. Wayne has been promoting his GKUA Ultra Premium weed products line with his Mr. Carter OG strain. He has announced that he will hold summer concerts now that quarantine has lifted including a show at Coliseum in LA on August 13 with the crew of Young Money.
Denise and Wayne started dating last summer. They broke up when Weezy supported Donald Trump in October of 2020. Lil Wayne also posted a photo with Trump with the tweet reading, “Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership. He listened to what we had to say today and assured me he will and can get it done.”
This tweet was followed by Denise Bidot deleting all her photos with Lil Wayne and disabling her Instagram account after they broke up. In November, she tweeted, “Wow…can this year be over already.” The couple however got back together during Thanksgiving as both Denise and Wayne were seen vacationing together. They were together during New Year’s and posted a selfie on Instagram with fireworks behind them.
But Denise and Wayne soon seemed to have split after their vacation, since both of them unfollowed each other on January 5, 2021. Denise Bidot also shared a message with her fans saying, “Pretty disappointing when you defend someone throughout everything and they turn out being just as sh*tty as everyone said they were.” She did not name Lil Wayne but it was speculated that this was directed at him. However, when Lil Wayne shared the video of Bidot on the beach drawing their names in the sand while drawing hearts as well, it seemed the couple had gotten back together. A week after Wayne shared that video, he is talking about “the beginning of our forever.” Fans are waiting for either of them to post photos together or share news of their engagement.
